November Round Up…

Hey lovelies; welcome back to itsjustabbsxo!

I decided to do a round up of November, letting you know what has happened in the month of November, what I have been up to and letting you know what is yet to come! November was a weird month for me, it went really quickly and yet part of me felt like December would never come.

So you all know that I was made redundant from my full time job and literally since that I have not found anything. Well, that’s a lie, I have found jobs that have really sparked an interest to me and I have really wanted them but then it seemed like after my interviews I just felt let down and got rejected. It started to really get me down, I started feeling so upset and like I wasn’t good enough. That was up until the other day; I got offered a job that I was so excited for!

It is working as a support worker within the private healthcare sector – I have always loved working with people and so getting the opportunity to work with people everyday is just so exciting for me. I am also looking forward to getting back into a normal work routine again! I can’t wait to let you know how things go when I start in the new year!

Other than that, I am pleased to say that I have finished all my Christmas shopping – since being made redundant, I have had to be super tight with my money just in case I didn’t get a job for a while; buying Christmas presents on a budget is hard, especially when you know your family deserve the world and you can’t even afford a candle. Christmas to me has never been about the presents, yes that’s a huge benefit, sharing presents around the lounge with your family sparks such a joy in me. however, deep down, Christmas to me is just being with my family, playing some games and having some food and drinks. With all that being said, I have finished buying presents – I put a budget down on my presents and I kept within that budget!! Have you got a budget set for your presents this year?

With regards to Slimming World, I haven’t lost any weight – I have stayed the same throughout the last two weeks which is fine by me. I haven’t been following the diet properly and so it really hasn’t bothered me. I know I need to stick to the plan but it gets to this time of year when it starts to get super cold and I just cannot stick to a diet!

Rolls on December first and the decorations go up! I am so happy with our Christmas decorations this year and I think the house looks amazing! What do you think about these few images I took?

And there we have it, a quick round up on the last month! I am very glad its now December, I will be heading for my Christmas holidays before I know it! How was your November?

Until next time, Abbs xo

  1. Congrats on the job! x I was a healthcare assistant in the private sector for about a year and it was hard work, but rewarding. It helped me also realize how to give care to my handicapped mom and aging grandmother while upholding dignity and respect. My November was great: finished my seasonal job, got to hang out in Seattle a bit, went home to Arizona to see my family and getting ready for the holidays!
