What I eat in a day – Slimming World

I have been doing slimming world for a while now and I think I have finally nailed down a solid day of eating. If you aren’t sure what slimming world is; check out their website at: http://www.slimmingworld.co.uk

What I eat in a day on Slimming World

On slimming world, you are allowed up to 15 syns a day. I don’t usually eat all 15 syns but I do like having the option to have a sweet treat every now and then! Okay, enough talking, lets jump in with what I actually eat in a day on slimming world! When I let you know what I eat, I will also include how many syns are in the meal!

Breakfast;

I like to start my day off with a cup of coffee; in my coffee I add 1 sugar and some milk (lactofree of course!). I then like to make my eggs, my favourites are five minute eggs. This is where you put eggs into a pan of water and bring them to the boil – once the water is boiling, you set a timer for 5 minutes. After five minutes, you add the eggs to a cold bowl of water and peel them. To go with my eggs, I have one slice of toast, I cut the eggs in half and add them to the toast – sprinkle over some chilli flakes and salt and boom, breakfast! This is such a hearty and filling breakfast and it keeps me going all morning! My syns for breakfast end up coming to 1.5 (This is because my toast is my healthy B.)

Lunch;

For lunch, I like to make a pasta salad. Tuna pasta salad is one of my favourites. It is such an easy meal to prep and keep for a few days in the fridge. This tuna salad is free apart from the mayonnaise – the amount of mayonnaise I use is such a small amount I end up only using around 2 tablespoons. I add in celery, bell peppers, tuna in water and sweetcorn. The pasta is free on slimming world which is great. As well as my pasta salad, I also have some fruit – usually an apple or a banana. All fresh fruit is free on slimming world so I love to fill myself up on that! In total, my lunch comes to 1 syn.

Dinner;

For dinner I love to have a baked sweet potato, cut this in half and add in two tablespoons of Philadelphia soft cheese – in a separate bowl I then have some baked beans.  Baked beans are completely free on slimming world so you already know I am taking advantage of that! Beans are such an easy meal and you can have them for breakfast lunch or dinner! My dinner comes to around 2 syns.

Snacks;

Okay, can you really go a whole day without incorporating snacks into your diet? I love to snack on various fruits and vegetables such as; apples, carrot sticks or cucumber sticks. I have also been loving Snack A Jacks the cheese flavoured ones – per snack a jack (the large round ones) is 2 syns so I will usually have two of these! I will also have another cup of tea or coffee which are both 1.5 syns.

There we have it, this is just one typical day of eating – I do have other meals that I like to have so I will do another day of eating! My days total syn counts comes to; 10 syns.
