Happy April my loves! What a better way to start a new month than with a wrap up of last month. The month of March seemed to fly by and yet the weeks went so slowly, does that make sense?
This month at work was such a good month, I am feeling so positive about my role and my job. I have been given so much more marketing work to do; I have been given the role of running the social media accounts for our business. Yay!!! I was so happy to hear this news, I love working with social media. Not only do I enjoy it, but it will also help me learn even more about it which can benefit my blog in the long run. I have already started to learn so much; especially about the use of Facebook and LinkedIn.
I had a good month, a happy month. At the start, I had a party to celebrate our friends 21st birthday. It was such a great night and I had so much fun. Kane and I had such a fab night with great company – we didn’t want the night to end!
I got my nose pierced. Boy, was that a mistake. I got it done in the first week of March, by the second week – it was out and I was having an emergency doctors appointment. Judging by my twitter thread, it was bad. My body rejects all piercings and jewellery – what happened with my nose was so painful.
My body started developing an infection; one day, the bar fell out, well more like my nose got hard lumps and pushed the bar out; I couldn’t get it back in and so decided to leave it out and let it heal. I woke up the next morning and my nose was so swollen and covered in puss. (Sorry, gross). I had to get a doctors appointment and they put my on tablets and a cream to help get rid of the abscess. UGH!
I finished Pretty Little Liars, again 😦 and I was disappointed, again 😦 Does anyone else seriously wish they didn’t make such a crappy ending to this series? Like what, it doesn’t make any sense! It is the most ridiculous and stupid ending. I regret watching the last episode, it’s much better to just make up endings in your head rather than being disappointed with the ending.
I watched the Netflix documentary on the Madeleine McCann case… wow was it an eye opener. I have been following the case for as long as I can remember and was so nervous yet excited to watch this eight episode long documentary on Netflix.
If you haven’t heard about Madeleine McCann she was a three year old girl that went missing in 2007 in Praia De Luze in Portugal. 11 years on, there’s still no sign of Madeleine.
This case was so huge in the media, everyone and anyone was talking about it, getting involved in anyway they possibly could. Thousands of reporters were everywhere, surrounding this case. The Netflix documentary showed us all the different suspicions and theories, this was great for us, the watchers, because we were able to get so many different views on the story.
Overall, I thought this was an OK documentation, I really think it was rushed… too much information was put into one episode at a time. There was too much evidence, too many people involved in one episode at a time. I think it should have been longer, more episodes, for us to get the full story.
Did you watch the documentary? What did you think of it?
Thank you so much for reading this blog post, I hope you enjoyed it – be sure to give me any feedback you may have as I always love taking peoples opinions on board!
